Game is crashing at old lumiere.

My game is crashing nonstop and i think it is before a cut scene. I do not know what to do at this point. I can't even move forward in the story because of this crash. What can i do to fix this?

Updating the ClairObscurFix mod from 0.0.7 to 0.0.9 helped me. IF you are using this mod.
For myself, I've totally forgotten about it.

I too had the mod installed and completely forgotten about it till it start crashing at the very same spot.

I've seen some solutions in here, so you may have to go diving.

I think one was to switch to a certain direct X?

I did and that didn't work. However i download the ClairObscurFix mod and was able to get the game to work.
