I always wanted Maelle to leave because that is the most reasonable course of action and the only way for her to actually grow as a character, but she had to make that choice herself to properly come to terms with herself.
By having it forced upon her she does not get to grow as a character and therefore although it is exactly the outcome I wanted for her, it is terribly disappointing and unsatisfying how the game went about achieving it by making Verso a traitor to the cause and betraying Lune and Scielle in the process like they never mattered at all.
Relationships seriously should have played an essential part in getting proper endings.
Also personally I do not perceive her as okay at all, because the Canvas life was her true happiness and in that outcome that very life she truly wanted Gommages in front of her, along with herself (meaning she will never be truly happy ever again).
