Crash in the first Cutscene

The game crashes right after Emma's speech. I checked Reddit, but none of the suggested solutions worked. I really want to play the game, but I can't.

Note, after the update, i can finally play the game

I'd say check your mods, but if you just started, I'd wait for another patch since today's has apparently been rather buggy.

i had crush whenever cutscene was meant to start, the FOV fixing mod was causing it.

we need more information. whats your PC Specs do you have any mods installed driver versions etc

My specs are: RTX 2060 Super (12GB VRAM), 16GB RAM, Ryzen 5 3600, and a 1TB SSD. I don't have any mods installed, and my Nvidia driver version is 576.28 (Game Ready).

I don’t have any mods installed. Why would you put a mod in a game that was just released?

I just bought the game today and running into this same issue, no mods installed either.
Kind of frustrating since the intro so far was so good but I can't get past that cutscene.
Running on Steamdeck OLED.

I tried all graphics settings, from minimum to maximum. The game runs at 60 FPS on Epic settings, so my PC is not the issue.

For steam deck try changing your compatibility to proton experimental but preferably GE proton 27. The game has performed flawless all systems I've tried with GE 27.
