Gamebreakers - New Maelle Build to One Shot Simon Post-nerf?

Hey guys,

I was trying to hit 99 before defeating Simon and now with that nerf, they basically took all the wind out of my sails. I dont see myself being able to dodge his crazy attacks in Phase 2, so I am looking for a brave nerd here who already found a new Maelle Setup to one shot him.

Is it still possible? Anyone got a Setup to share?

You can still do it with Verso and a follow up build. You just shoot him a bunch with your gun and use follow up. Watched a vid someone posted earlier.

It is possible, Stendhal still exists it was not removed. Gommage stil exists, Sword Ballet still exists, you can one shot him with any damage skill.

Cant get my Maelle to hit over 15 Mil, cant get my Verso over 17 Mil right now. Anyone got a Build that can still one shot Simon? I am far away from 98 Million.

You can still one shot him, you just need to actually work for it now and make a proper build / do proper setups.

Nerd here, here's how you still one shot him, probably. He's dead for me so can't test, but this setup is doing 59m damage to the last boss of endless tower.

Everyone should have First Strike equipped. Verso goes first with Sireso, with Cheater pictos he can build to S Rank with free aim shots/basic attacks and marks/burns and applies defenceless to Simon. Sciel goes second and casts Fortune's Fury on Maelle and with Cheater can also mark with Marking card. On Maelle use every pictos you have that could increase first attack damage/damage overall and Stendhal away. Should still be enough.

Pictos I'm using on Maelle for dmg: Augmented First Strike, Auto Powerful, Burn Affinity, Confident Fighter, First Offensive, Full Strength, Glass Canon, Greater Powerful, Immaculate, Inverted Affinity, Powered Attack, Teamwork and Warming Up. Gamble with Roullete and in theory could hit 118m

lv 94 Maelle so could still be better. Edit: forgot to add Burn Affinity, more dmg

Make sure you adjust your party order so that the members are from left to right during battle: Maelle, Verso, Sciel
Basically, remove everyone from the party but Maelle, then add Verso and then Sciel

Maelle uses Last Chance twice.
Verso free aims all his AP into Simon then attacks.
Again free aim shoot until you have 2 AP left and use Radient Slash
Sciel uses Fortune's Fury and then Intervention, both on Maelle.
Maelle uses Gommage.
Victory.

Add Roulette on Maelle for potentially bigger numbers.

Even Stendhal kills easily with this setup

2 builds that works on NG+ Expert when going solo so on first playtrough you can remove roulette for more stable dmg and if you add Sciel then its more than needed and you dont need to have all luminas

Sciels Weapon does not matter at all.
I was still using Medallum on Maelle because i was to lazy to look for a better one.
Verso uses Siereso, but since its level 4 is still bugged, it also does not matter.

You can use any sword you want.
Medallum is actually a sub-par choice now.
