Can't dodge or parry a certain move
Idk what's happening but there are specific moves where time slows down for the enemy and I always get hit. I can dodge and parry anything else. I noticed that with Grolga and a Chromatic Enemy where you have to parry all combos to win or he attacks endlessly. I was able to win when it stopped using the "mortal strike" thing where time slows down. What am I missing here? Do these moves have some gimmick to it or am overthinking? I thought that maybe due to time slowing down it could be messing with my sense of timing and screwing it up but so far I'm yet to find a way to reliably avoid it. Any tips? It's just this one type of move, which thankfully is rare to encounter

you should have been taught that when it first started showing up(in the battleground area i think), not sure what you're using but for me the gradiant parry is right trigger on an xbox controller

Wait, that's a gradient attack? I had no idea. I easily avoided the ones from the last boss so I thought these ones I mentioned were just a regular attack that was a bit different

well, gradient attack is something else you get later on after getting monaco in your group. uses the same button but has to be charged up. this is a parry that verso shows you when you get to the area that has those guys with those time slowing attacks.

I figured i was missing something. I knew of gradient counters but i so rarely used them beyond the first introduction that ig i forgot their "cue" is slowing time down. Lol thanks for the reminder it should be pretty simple now
