Game started cool and starts to get boring

Somehow this game doesnt give me enough information to enjoy this world.
It was really a nice awesome opening to the game with alot of great moments but the battlesystem doesnt seem very entertaining to me and i dont get anything from the story.
I just dont understand what is happening and i have some many questions about this world the game didnt aswer yet.

Now i seem to be on a worldmap? but iam as big as a tree? i dont get it.

i even dont know why iam doing what iam doing.

does this get any better?

At the beginning it was great to not know alot but now it feels very wrong to not know enough of the world iam fighting for.

Are most things about the game world going to be eventually explained? Yes. Is the game going to stop using mystery as prominent characteristic of their story-telling? No.

The character motivations for what they're doing in the game shouldn't be that hard to figure out. Seems like maybe this game isn't for you.

My character knows all the answers to the world.
i can only try to guess what happend and why everything is so strange.

maybe i should stick to classic rpg games
this world feels off right now.

It is called "patience", you ARE supposed to feel a bit lost. Every single little thing will be explained in full in due time. All of it, the entire setup will make sense, it will all fall into place. But of course that only happens later, after you get to know the world.

It's perhaps what the development team wanted. Clair Obscur' main thematic is not the easiest to address in video game (an also in general life). There is a reason why this game is rated Mature 17+ in some countries (MA15+ in Australia) and it's not because of nudity and sex scenes.
