About ENDING !!!!!(SPOILERS)!!!!

Well, I finished the game yesterday and chose Verso's ending. My heart really wanted to choose Maelle's ending. But I thought that it's true what Renoir said. That she would bring back her friends at a cost of her life. (And so her IRL family losing another member). Living on a fantasy world forced to paint (dont know if on the room with little verso (that it's obviously tired)) until her physical body dies. You as a player get attached to the characters, feel their emotions through battles and scenes, you explore their world. But what do you think would be the right choice
