This is so true, lol
Works like a charm, just did it this morning.
I usually love breaking games, but any semblance of balance just completely flies out the window starting act3, which is honestly my biggest criticism. I actually refused to use Verso and Maelle simply because they far outclass the rest of the group and trivialize everything way too quickly.
I saw a vid where he just used parry all the way to beat him.
now that's more impressive.
Yeah it's that simple, you find this stuff organically. It's this game's Yojimbo, hard to resist you lure once you get it. Does NG+ up enemy stats or is it just "you have instant victory at your fingertips whenever you like" from now on?
There is no really any secret builds. Lot of people went full DMG + speed due them getting one shot early by optional bosses, and many players having high enough skills to press the dodge button once in a while obsoletes defense. Many people already had high damage stacked when act 3 started. When you reach act 3, there a 1 skill deletes all single target enemies with 1-hit, another multi-target skill was still good enough to remove most non-boss enemies with a single hit. Only question is how many were unlucky enough to not have a weapon, which gives free virtuous stance.

Simon does not have enough hp to mitigate the nerf, she still will one shot him. And she can do multiple turns if needed. We are talking about billions here before the tomorrow nerf.
I dont think they even want to. But you are right, problem is damage buffing pictos that stack multiplicatively and unlimited lumina pool. But there is no need to balance it anyway, in a way this powerfantasy feels very good thematically. If Stendhal is a bug then be it, Simon still will die by one shot.
