Hi I'm looking for advice on using Maelle

Hi how do you use Maelle? I don't understand what skill to use and how to use the poses, I do fire damage and its weakness and in virtuous pose I do the basic skill damage. I don't think that's how it should be used.

I also can't manage to get any decent damage output out of her. I used to use her for buffs/debuffs basically but now I don't even have space for her since Verso and Sciel far exceed her damage output and I need Lune as a healbot/reviver. Maybe I should take the time to read her skills through and figure out how to proper sequence them.

Stack damage Lumina and buffs with Maelle, damage buff Lumina and Gradient generation with other Party members.

Use Gradient 3 with Maelle.

She is quite literally the strongest damage dealer in the game. You use fire attacks to get into virtuoso stance and stack burns on the target. late game she switches out of fire one she can just start one shotting everything

Late game is last chance into stendahl or phantom strikes. Early game is spark into swift ride into rain of fire or pyrolyse. In late game you just want to stack damage. In early game you want stuff that synergizes well with fire. Like pictos that heal 25% when hitting an enemy on fire or +1 AP when hitting people on fire stuff like that.

Early game I got the weapon that starts you in Virtuose stance (by beating the Gestral Village arena with Maelle). Then I did the flurry that keeps you in Virtuose stance, and if you don't have enough AP for that, the skill that keeps you in current stance and gives AP back.

in the gestral village if you do the arena fight with her you get a sword that starts her in virtuoso stance

Переходишь в грациозную позицию, используешь скилл, который наносит доп дамаг, если на враге метка (метку можно легко накладывать либо скиллом густава, либо с помощью люмины, которая даёт 20% шанс наложить метку при выстреле) и стоит меньше очков действий, если Маэль в грациозной позе. Дополнительно можно поджечь и использовать люмину на +25% шанса крита. Итого скилл наносит на ранних уровнях 3-5 тысяч урона, что приятно.

Just to add onto this, if you're past the arena you can duel golgra later with Maelle and still get this weapon. Technically at any time, but in Act 3 is probably best because the 9999 cap will be a pain and I'm not sure where you are.
The pictos from the hidden arena help a lot, survivor and cheater too. If you can't do cheater yet that's okay, you just might have to learn a couple of her moves to do it in a few turns versus one.

I had to do it way after the fact because I lost to sciel in the arena at that point in the game lol. Good luck! Game was broken for me after that weapon.

Find ways to get into virtuoso stance, and launch your strongest skill (or the one that resets virtuous, followed by the piercing one on the following turn)

She's all about setting up the nuke then triggering it. Since outside of medalum or the counter weapons her best way to get into stance is to have the enemy be burned, you kinda want the character that goes before her to burn the enemy.
