The Grind to 99

Trying to grind to level 99 to get 100% achievements and am losing my mind.

Can't just watch a youtube video or something while doing it because of the active battle system. So just doing the merchant in Renoir's drafts over and over from level 90, sometimes failing since I am bad at the game.

One of the best games I have played of all time, just doing this last thing before the ending and wanted to scream into the void.

Just download Wemod and make the exp bonus 100x or something. Dont waste your life grinding.

Theres no penalty, you still get achievements etc.

I was farming level 99 at Dark Shores.

if you can manage to get Medalum for Maelle and stack her, she'll eat through everything in renoir's drafts, even more so with cheater/and whatever that one is that lets you go when you get below 30%. for safety, put sciel as second in turn and intervention back to maelle and give her all the AP pictos.

Usually I can get three turns out of her at the beginning (two buffed stendahl) and then intervention gives her another buffed stendahl and that's three guys. if it's something squisher you can go for fencer's flurry but I just like how stendahl looks lol.

An achievement hunter asks a genuine question on levelling and the first response is "get a mod". jfc

OP, I did mine in Renoir's Drafts, the contortionist and creation near the second flag.

I’m farming there as well. Up to 1.2mln exp for a group of 3 with no damage bonus and guaranteed lvl32 weapon upgrades. Very easy to parry after 10min of practice.

Just do it at Reniors Draft, near the 2nd flag, there is 2 sets of creations and then further back a big mob. You should be able to kill them all without taking any dmg so you get near 2m exp per kill, then rest and reload. Thats what I did.

pro tip

forget about defense and health

focus on offense, full glass cannon

Maelle is the best character to farm the merchant because of her Virtuoso Stance

use the void skills and every lumina related to damage increase etc...

also Cheater and maybe Energy Master (if you have defeated the Serpent)

but Cheater is the most broken lumina in the game probably

I think not many people know NG+ exists, because it is so ridiculously difficult to find. Re-loading the game, going to a flag... that's not really what most people do after finishing a game.

I presume they want to do it in a single playthrough or while they're there. ng+ would mean they have to progress all the way to the end locations again.

Well I was lvl 91 when I was ready to finish up. I love the game but I was not in the mood to start a new game just to get 8 lvls.

I was around 85 or so when I finally explored Renoir's Drafts. I just hung around the second flag and kept fighting the two groups of creations repeatedly for x2 lumina points each battle. It helped thinking about it that way rather than thinking of grinding to level 99. I needed to make sure all of my characters could equip stuff like Clea's Life, Cheater, Second Chance, etc. (which are all 40 a pop) before I tried to take on Simon again.

In the end, I finally tried to fight him again at level 99 while everyone had 385 lumina points, and finally managed to beat him.

Dark Shores or Endless Tower (but mostly this). Easy exp in those.
