Some aspects of the game improve going trhough it, don't they?
I am finding the maps to be more interesting, beautiful and varied as the game progresses, starting with Act II. There is less of that dull monochrome and it is easier to recognise where you are, if you have already been there, without relying on some random asset dropped there as conspicuous point. I even like the catchy tunes during combat better.

I still have doubts about the quality/credibility of the story, too many things in the lore are the way they are because they are, and the motivations of some characters are too obscure or not credible. But perhaps the ending will tie it all up in a way that makes sense. (No, I am not looking for spoilers here :)
