The parry thing that's the first I've heard of it
Wouldn't go into this thinking Souls Like though
I know how stats work :) I'm asking about diminishing returns after a certain point. For example, in Dark Souls you get much more out of stats from 1-20 than 21-40 and so on.
Or are you saying there aren't any?
My bad I don't bother with all the soft cap stuff, but there is
https://www.reddit.com/r/expedition33/s/x3r1IxedO7
We would need to get stat caps per enemy to be able to know what is the turning point for speed to actually give or lose 1 extra turn at certain point of the game. I had relatively high agility, but a lot of time it felt like I always had same amount of turns, specially if playing without slow/haste. Only noticeable difference was when new characters joined with 0 attribute points allocated by default.
Might - should be added at the end (not rly worth at the beginning as other stats gives more)
Agility - good thresholds is 47 or eventually up to 66 if you rly need to and not rly worth later for stats
Defense - scales up all way forward
Luck - good thresholds are 11/15/35 and not rly worth later for stats
for late game you should add stats according to weapon + might (eventually some luck if you need crit rate)
