The menu and UI needs a complete redo
I am really enjoying the game and have even gotten used to the dodge/parry thing, its fun enough but I don't want it to become a JRPG standard.

The menu though is utter garbage, I'm sorry.
1. Its often hard to tell what you are selecting
2. The Pictos equip doesn't show what you've mastered.
3. The Pictos equip screen doesn't show the number of lumina that would be required to equip the skill that way.
4. The Pictos equip screen is extremely vague as to how much your attributes are changing (and its a LOT! Show the stats!)
5. Equipping skills is clunky.
6. The whole thing feels badly setup and unintuitive.
7. It is impossible to understand the turn order.
8. Also, please at least give us a permanent compass when exploring, and the option to toggle some permanent UI on the screen.
9. The icons are tiny and too small.

There's more... Seriously just redo the whole thing.

The Pictos and Lumina system is borderline unusable I don't know how this isn't getting more criticism. I have no idea just looking at the screen. You can't sort by effect, you can't see whether they are learned, you can't see clear effects on stats, there's like a hundred to sort through. I just don't even want to be bothered to go through it and switch to learn them every time I get a new one... 4 battles might as well have just made it free.

It does though? The non-mastered ones have grey icons.

The character stats are right there in the top right corner?
