Linear game or open world?

Is this game more a linear game or is it like open world like Skyrim? I am more after linear, start-finish. Not running around with 1000 different quests losing myself in the story.

Linear story, but each story area you complete opens the world more and more with optional areas.

Once you likened it to the Skyrim I have a feeling this isn't your type of game. No offense go play Stalker 2 instead.

Very linear game with very clear path. It has a world map but the game is an opposite to open world games.
