DLC could be a roguelike mode with new and old bosses
Hear me out, Sandfall and playerbase:

What if the DLC is new bosses and levels in some kind of roguelike endgame dungeon maybe procedural even, like random rooms and drops?
And they could give us starting builds and make us find random Pictos, (that automatically are Lumina for the sake of streamlining) both new ones and from the game so far. and then we see what we can do with those and how far we get.

i think that would be amazing.

No, the roguelike genre needs to die. There's already a billion of them on steam alone.
I mean i get it, swapping genre for the DLC is a ballsy move. but i feel like, in terms of JRPG, this game has already done everything there is to do. but the battle system and finding new Pictos/Color of Lumina and Weapons and constantly refining your build or respecing.

and i feel like the replayability and RNG of Roguelikes couples well with that is all.
