I didn't get that :)
Verso gets 200% in S rank too :)
I stopped after Renoir, Dualiso was the best weapon I had found
So then you probably can show me 2b damage you did with Verso? Because Mael can do it post nerf. 500m with Stendhal still if you buff her, 50m with zero preparation, just one button on turn 1.
No character can deal that damage by my level, buddy.
Verso isn't my favorite, any build or character who doesn't meet any resistance becomes boring after a while. I don't like having to use 20+ ap per turn because it takes longer than necessary.
Neither do I like having to use 1 extra turn on Maelle to get to her into the preferred stance, because combat is always over before she gets to use her stance.
I don't have whatever weapon puts her ub virtuous stance at the start of combat. I didn't find it during my playthrough. But I imagine I would find it boring fast too.
The game was the most fun in the first half where I always tried to change builds because I got a new cool picto or a new weapon and new mechanics were introduced.
I won't be going back to the game to finish end game content as it would sour my experience and I have finished all the most important story beats. Verso has been the strongest since he got Dualiso and no character no matter what have been able to get close to him in damage and utility. He deals tons of damage, he debuffs, he buffs, he stuns, he marks, he burns, he heals - He does it all.
"I won't actually get to the point of the game where builds are relevant because it'd ruin my experience" is wild.
Pre Painted Power, every character can do what your Verso does. It's trivial to hit damage cap at mid game with everybody. No one is doing the damage Maelle does with Stendhal after you remove the cap, though. She is far and away the biggest single hitter in the game.
You can get to S rank immediately and most fights you won't even get hit because either they die or they break
So the game first begins after 45 hours? After you beat the story? Riiiiiiiight.
Not really sure why it's so hard to just say that Verso was simply your most liked character, even though he's not really the strongest. Considering you were first talking pre-painted powers, which is very weird. Then you revealed how you just built incredibly weird as well in such a way you couldn't even get comparable output from other characters. It just sort of seems like you're trying too hard to make Verso out as the strongest against all facts. There's nothing wrong with just saying "He's my favorite" instead. Hell, he's my favorite as well. I literally invested most of my time and builds around him. Even though I knew Maelle was stronger.
Because all of you keep saying "Maelle is strongest, you just need this and this and this and beat the game and then she will be the best". So for pretty much the ENTIRE game Verso is the strongest and for most people that will be their experience.
