Which location I should visit without spoiling the gaming experience?
Since the beginning of the game I was following the story line, however I am now at ACT 2 and feel like I am quite weak when I proceed, so I decided to go around the map, I found some spot like 'Yellow Harvest' for example, seems like I wasn't being told to visit there.

I want to know which location was appropriate for ACT 1 and ACT 2 level, which are not included in main story? I don't want to fight something super strong and not intended for my level, just want to play the game in a correct pace.

The world is cut off by certain missions. And those are the main missins, I've explored some. And I'd say you can't go to far by free roaming the main story locks progression.
So another place you haven't been yet would fit.
Some places are harder than others, but you can always come back later for those.
Just explore, you can't go wrong.
The game will clearly mark the dangerous areas so I wouldn't worry about exploration too much. The tougher optional bosses you can usually tell by their appearance mimes etc as they are either unique or stand out.
The portals (entrances) to various areas out in the world use colors to tell players the difficulty of the area based on the player's level, so simply by observing the colors one should have no issue maintaining a steady pace.

  • Blue - overleveled for the area
  • Yellow - proper level for the area
  • Red - underleveled for the area

I think this 4 places really suit for early Act III

yellow harvest is a great place to level up in act 1, there are 4 enemy groups that patrol around the lake. you can get like 9-10k exp per fight. you can handle the area as soon as you can reach it. will need to dodge big hits. most of the enemies are weak to fire

act 2 is weird, you can probably just follow the story mode and level up at sirene or maybe the optional area on the far west of the map, something about leaves. or... you can do what i did.
frozen heart is meant for act 3 i think? you can totally handle it in act 2, but the battles are worth 150-300k per fight. so you can go into every fight treating it like a boss battle and get through them. there are MANY things about frozen heart mountain that you can break the game with. like 5+ extremely high level pictos laying around, some VERY interesting mechanics for the daneuse dancers, and the random item drops (weapon upgrade resources)

i'm told the crimson shores at the very southern then west location on the map is good for act 3. i cant verify. i'm assuming you gain access to flight for esquie and there will be a handful of places to go and do stuff
