Turn based RPG with similar Character mechanics and QTE?

Well, that's a very small list. This game is quite unique.

There are other turn based games with qte and active defensive measures, but nothing plays like this.
Paper Mario?
The real drought is about to start for every single one of us who truly appreciated the combat in this amazing game.

The only one, that is a bit similar, with active parry and active attack is Final Fantasy 13-3: Lightning returns but I'm not sure if I can recommend that game.
I personally enjoyed it but it's weird, runs bad, screams low budget and it's not like any other game.
But it's hard and has active mechanics like perfect block and perfect attack.
It also have some Rouge like mechanics. If you fail to save the world you start over with all your gear and levels. Kind of NG+ that can be started before finishing the game.

Legend of Dragoon, PS1

Sea of stars is somewhat similiar

I'd heavily recommend Yakuza: Like a Dragon, different tone but a very good game

I mean it depends how much you want the quick time events (which gamers usually hate) to be there. You kind of have one with Lost Odyssey. JRPG of higher quality than this in terms of writing tho, with rings that are influenced for combat effects with the triggers during combat.

Lost Odyssey.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon / Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

MS not porting Lost Odyssey to PC still boils my piss
There's nothing really like it... but here's a list of it's biggest sources of inspiration... with their original platforms, because i know some people don't like retro gaming because of graphics and controls... but most of them are available on PC.

1. Lost Odyssey (Xbox360)
2. Final Fantasy X (PS2)
3. Final Fantasy IX (PS1)
4. Legend of Dragoon (PS1)
5. Persona 5 (PS4)

Then you have the 2 latest Yakuza/Like a dragon games that draw from similar sources of inspiration.
