Question about the original soundtrack DLC
Finished the game yesterday and I plan to buy the original soundtrack DLC. Does the soundtrack include lyrics in french and english?

I would love to be able to understand the songs. So something like the music library in blackmyth: wukong where you can listen and look at the lyrics would be great.

The entire soundtrack is available for free on YT (no lyrics sadly) and Spotify

Bummer..... I know i can find the soundtrack online. But i won't mind paying if it included lyrics cause i can tell those songs with lyrics have meaning to them since the name of the characters were included (i don't understand french).

I feel like i am missing an aspect of the game by not understanding what was being sang which is why i wanted it.

Thx for the info.

The songs are indeed about the characters and the plot. Thats why during the game the words used are largely gibberish and make no sense, even if you know French.
Only at the ending credits the song is fully understandable.

I don't think a game that so well made as this especially in regards to art would simply wrote lyrics that are largely gibberish. I found a YT video with lyrics (french, english and turkish) for ACT2 boss fight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeXdtz05Gqc&ab_channel=AngeleyesPOE

If the dev ever decide to add lyrics to their soundtrack DLC, i would pay to support it and play another playthrough after going through each song with lyrics so i can associate it with the scene better.

Its not gibberish in the sense that its total nonsense but its a made up language, a mix of French, English and Latin. Nearly all the songs are sung in that made up language and only in the late game do we get fully french versions because the song texts are actually full of spoilers.
The devs said they were inspired by the Nier games that did something similar with their OST.

I see. Thanks for the clarification. =D

Haiz... i still would like to know what each word means though... especially after finishing the game.
