After beating game
I don't understand how people are saying they do 10 mil damage or 40 mil. I just beat the game did most side stuff I could do. Everything else says danger! danger!
I Figured be more main missions on third Act since have no idea what to do now. I would start new game plus but seems like players already need to be OP before starting that.
I have collected a couple lvl 39 upgrades while my weapons are all at lvl 18-19.
So I can see how you could get stronger but don't understand how to even get started on that.

Lvl up your character, lvl up your weapons. Explore every corner of the map and youll easily do those dmg numbers. My Maelle can hit for 300mil single target dmg. And about 3-4 for group skills.
Look up build guides online, choose to either work on all 5 characters, or only the 3 you like, go for their "Best" weapon, depending on which guide your looking at (Most usually say the same), work towards each ones perfect setups including attribution points, plus, the difference in weapons between level 18-19 and 33 is INSANE, mainly because of the Attribution stats increase going from C/B's to A/S's, which makes a LOT of difference.

Verso, for me, had a level 20 weapon when I first hit act 3 (The one that lets him have a second turn). Got that same weapon to 25 and he does almost 3/4x the damage he was previously doing (From 10-15k a hit to 35-50k a hit).
I then changed his build a little, and have 1 skill that hits for 200k+ and slowly goes up in damage. Since his fighting style is based around parrying/dodging, keeping him at S rank helps a ton. It also helped that I re-rolled his attribution points and put them in to his weapon scaling.
All 3 of my characters also parry for between 60-90k, and "most" of them only have weapons in their early 20's.
It's not just about weapons, it's also about the weapon scaling with attribution points, the pictos you choose and the Luminos you spend too.

Recently saw someone do 250MIL damage with 1 hit. I think on the normal difficulty, the "highest" health boss is around 20mil a think (From what I've read), so, that's pretty insane.

Farming Lumina to get every possible Lumina damage bonus is what gives these crazy numbers.
And of course you need levels, weapons and all good pictos.
Get to Level 99, a Level 33 weapon, at least 1200 Lumina and every find every Pictos. Combine. There. Millions upon Millions of damage per turn.

Apparently can do over Billion https://www.nexusmods.com/clairobscurexpedition33/mods/35?tab=posts&BH=10
Find that trying to find videos on where to go after finishing the end. I found atleast like 5 areas just all say danger being at lvl 55. Just trying to find some weaker areas to build up to those areas. Grinding lvls doesn't seem like it work, seems like would need more high weapon upgrades. Think only got 1 which haven't used to get a weapon at 20.

A lot of those builds require the use of abilities that put you at 1 hp and use pictos that only boost damage until you take a hit, and thus only work if you can parry every single attack otherwise you just die.

I do over a billion damage on Maelle, the key is really that you take every single picto that can increase your damage somehow, be at 1 hp because some of those picto's only work at 10% hp or lower, but that does not matter since if you build it right you will have 9 shields on her, and a cheat dead so a hit that would kill you normally leaves you on 1 hp, and a second chance picto ofc, so if you die you come back to life, but none of that really matters since you'll be one shotting literally everything,
and Sciel is extremely important for double damage, and if you wanne go totally crazy you also wanne use the dead at start picto and use picto's that work with that on the other 2 chars thats not your main damage dealer, to buff your main dps even further, but tbh, it gets really silly, you'll be one shotting everything and it can become kinda boring when you reach that point, I don't think there is anything in the game that has more then 50m hp, while you will do over a billion damage.
NG+ supposedly gets alot harder perhaps it balances out when playing that.
