Is the world ever truly explained?
Or is it another game where weird things just happen and there's no reasoning or remotely logical explanation as to why anything is designed the way it is? Old cars from the mid 20th century(earth), with random architecture from centuries earlier? Magic, robotic arms, but no wireless communication system to speak of? No computers? Nothing flies? Giant stuffed talking creatures made of wood? And the bad guys are sort of bark-like, yet robotic, sort of=) 1 tiny city of humans left in a world seamingly the size of Miami? Clothing style doesn't change for decades? Gravity doesn't quite exist because a bunch of crap is floating, while cities are partly transmuted/buried into stone or giant vine things? And the Paintress doesn't really paint anything. it just waves its hand and ♥♥♥♥ appears, hehe. I was expecting the paint was the blood past victims or something.

Just another dream world that makes no sense at all?

It's all beautiful and "creative", but why don't developers think out why their world even exists? Some do, but so many just toss a bunch of random elements at a wall with no semblance of why it all exists together.

Mass Effect all makes sense for the most part.

Dune does. There's tech and swords, but all the swords have a purpose. They're not just carrying them around for show. Different races have very obvious reasons why they look how they look. Their tech and culture and design makes sense.

Even Fallout. There is at least justification why everything is the way it is.

Hoping someone explains ANYTHING before its over=)

It's hard to answer this without spoiling the ever living ♥♥♥♥ out of it. In short, kinda.

Why not finish the story before complaining about it?

"Kinda" is what I've read. And unless its a FREAKING AMAZING explanation, I don't mind spoilers. But I've yet to see anyone call it amazing. But thanks for being honest.
Yes. You'll understand why everything is the way it is by the end.
Seems like even if everything is explained i'm still not going to be able to understand it. It's interesting how things come together but damn.. game does get crazy. Haven't finished it yet but really messes with ya head. Which could emphasize but would spoil to much. Like there will be moments when your like wtf just happened?

Explaining why it's spoilers is spoilers in itself, but sure, the reasoning behind why the world came to be ends up being the central plot point of the game.
All major questions anyone has will be answered in full.
