so the bad ending it feels somehow not so bad i mean come on she does not have a good life on the outside so why stay there? if the canvas is better then the real world the go for it

I want to say the 'bad' ending is technically the good ending assuming Verso is the only one she was manipulating. Selfish or not, she's effectively extending the life of an entire world for generations.

I don't think it was confirmed anywhere whether Lune, Sciel, and even Gustave were all fake/manipulated/erased memories.

do i feel sorry for her in some ways but also happy that she can life some kind of happy life but im also sad about verso that he can live a life thats in a painting i really hope we get a sequal to this game there is so much more to explore in the story

Neither are good or bad endings. both are grey.

In the Verso Ending, Maelle is forced to get out of the painting, Destroy everyone who was alive in the painting, and get on with "her real life" which is nothing but pain, and silence.

In maelle's Ending, she brings back everyone she cares about, Gives verso his dream and spends the rest of her time (persumably until she dies) in the painting, but she has a normal and long life where she is happy, but she is lost from the "real" world.

whatever you choose as the "good" or "bad" ending, is ENTIRELY up to you.

It all hinges one one thing: do you believe that the Lumerians are real people with real emotions, dreams, hopes and fears? If yes... then ANY ending that destroys their world is outright evil and highly immoral.

In the Verso ending you kill them all just so he no longer needs to be depressed about his existence.

In the Maelle ending Maelle gets (slowly) corrupted and Verso is painted over by her and turned into somewhat of a puppet maybe, so two people suffer... but an entire world gets to live.

Both endings suck. But Maelle's ending is by far the much lesser evil.

yea its acutely good if you think about it its the first game im not being told how to think what is right or wrong anyways im still gonna do the verso ending in the new game plus :)

Would you think it's a happy ending if someone got so engrossed in a videogame they starved to death, all while their family watched without being able to do anything? Because that's kind of the equivalent of the Maelle ending.

She's running from reality living out an escapist fantasy. That's not a happy ending.

if the fake world is better then real one then i would do it in a heart beat call me what ever you want im gonna be happy with what i like :)

i think from person to person of it feels but yea i liked melles better to but haven't seen the verso ending yet so
