Where is Francois?

I know he’s the “neighbor” but I’ve literally wasted over an hour just trying to figure out where Francois is, Any suggestions, please?

Stand looking at Esquies, then look right. There's a passage that leads into a big room with a bunch of... torches I think? Francois is in the middle.

After the cutscene the character was even pointed in the direction that you were supposed to go, if you really can't find it after all, then just load up save before the cutscene.

If you are looking at Eqsuie, he is in the cave to the right. If your back is to Esquie, he is to your left. You gotta grapple to an area and proceed with the path.

Like the said above me. It's to the room on the left when you have your back to Esquie.

I gotchu :) Those grapple spots can be hard to see in some areas and I have since trained myself to look left, right, up, down, and all around for those little points.

And why in the name of Occam’s Razor would that plot be more likely than the simple fact that I didn’t notice the grapple spot?

Just have to be on high alert around here when certain questions are asked by people that 'don't own the game.' You seem legit however.
