Some achievements not unlocking

Anyone having issues with some achievements not unlocking? I just got the 49th journal by defeating a rather hard boss. It never unlocked the achievement. I've triple checked, I indeed have every journal in the game.

Any suggestions?

I know there is a mod with a save that spawns you right next to the last journal needed so I may try that. The issue is I"m afraid it will overwrite my actual save game data with it's save game data.

Just because someone rudely told me below that "he sincerely doubts I have all journals" I recorded a very quick video to show them all. If this isn't good enough please tell me what you'd like me to specifically do in game in another video and I'll upload it. I don't have a working mic atm so I can't just talk.

There are hidden logs in the game, they also count towards the achievement. If you don't want to search the entire map yourself, it's better to look at the guide.
Not to mention the guide, you need to go through a lot of things that are not part of the main story.
For example, to defeat the most difficult boss of the game, one hidden journal is available only after defeating him.

there is even case where you need to go back to location that you just cleared bcs you couldnt access place with journal bcs of story ^^
If I remember there are 2 locations that you need to backtrack after completing, one for journal and one for music

With my approach to games I got everything to one, except for that boss (except for what I overlooked at the very end of the story) and already got the achievement. The game will allow you to pick up magazines and after completing the story, NG+ is activated when you need it on the flag. Perhaps 1 magazine is not available unless you take the old key in the prologue, one here I am not sure.

Update: nvm 49 xD just checked true achievement
maybe bug, they reset in NG+ so you could try again there

As far as we know from other discussions, your items for achieving collection achievements, including magazines, are reset when switching to NG+.

As far as we know from other discussions, your items for achieving collection achievements, including magazines, are reset when switching to NG+.

Yep, everything log and quest related is reset.

Most people don't have all logs when complaining about it. And I sincerely doubt you do as well.

Most people don't have all logs when complaining about it. And I sincerely doubt you do as well.

I sincerely don't give a crap if you think I do or not as I know how to count and I have 49. HOWEVER If you're so worried about it, tell me how to record a short video of logging into the game, pulling up the journal section and scrolling through them all. I'll then post it.

Just tell me a free program to use and I'll upload it to Youtube and show you. I'll even do a specific pattern with the mouse, whatever you ask me to do to prove it's my unique video.

Bump. Any suggestions? I realllly don't want to have to play through the entire game again just to get 1 achievement for journals lol.

I know there is a mod you can down load that lowers the requirements to 48 journals and places you right in front of the last one but I'm afraid if I download that it will replace my actual save file.

I would if I felt I was actually cheated on Steam but I play through Gamepass on PC. I doubt it works there.

Well no idea really, is most probably a bug, I actually just finished all of them and I got the ach, my last one was the "Survivor" one. So all I can do is to confirm I got it after 49 exactly like what you have in your video. The only thing I can suggest is to confirm you don't have it, some times I think I don't have one because is in the hidden list and after destroying my brain for hours I find it already done.
