Image Quality AMD GPU

Hello,

I am trying to figure out why I can not get the game to look right. TSR and XESS both just look weird. I feel like no matter what I set the game to it is rendering at a super low res and then over sharpening to the point of causing issues.

There is no fsr4 or OFF option for scaling and 100% scaling looks worse than XeSS ultra quality.

I have a 4K HDR screen.

Are there any good options I can change? I turned off all the grain and other filter effects.

there's nothing we can do. Radeon users are stuck having an inferior experience because the devs decided radeon doesn't exist. which is ironic because XESS is intel, and even less people have an intel GPU.

Just goes to show which company the devs favor

Well I found the lyall mod which allows me to adjust sharpening filters. So I am playing with that.

You can use Optiscaler for FSR4 (using DLSS input), but gotta turn on Non Linear SRGB option which causes some ghosting in dark areas.

I just got this working. I use the lyall mod to adjust sharpness values in combination with optiscaler and it looks amazing.

Can i use renodx hdr with optiscaler? Optiscaler has hdr in the menu but no settings to adjust so idk what exactly that option does.

Got a 2 PCs with NVIDIA and AMD, they actually look the same. It's just Unreal Engine 5.
