I don't know what interaction caused it, probably something with the invisible phase and the masks
Also if you destroy all masks in phase 1 it does an attack thsy instantly reduces the party health to 1. That is stupidly lame design
Towards the end of Act 1 I was able to reach a hit of 9,999 with Maelle. So in Act 2 I opted for a "verso" which SPAMs attacks like never before, empties your magazines => hits hard => free turn with 6 AP.
10 gun strikes in one turn is not a bug, it's a build.
Yeah no I'm using exactly that, that's not my point. Dualiso Verso spamming attack/gun pictos is kind of an obvious build, and usually it would let your turn look like ;
gunx8 => attack => gunx5 => attack, or maybe use a skill instead of the second gun rotation. Except during that one specific fight, whenever I launched the second attack or the actual skill, Verso just immediately started getting the turn again, and could start the entire combo all over again
Can I ask did you like myself go straight for the boss? Or did you instead take the alternative paths? I am curious as to whether the first response in this thread explains what I encountered.
There is no question that I didn't have the strongest builds for all the cfharacters at that point, but my Verso build definitely resembles what has been discussed here, so I can't have been that far off with them at that point in the game.
ah yes, ofc i did it the intended way. maybe this time around i will try beating him without going for the other paths.
