Get rid of FPS drops

For anyone who experiences the FPS drops after about a 10 minutes of playing out of nowhere. Unequip the Simoso (Simon's sword) for Verso. It's bugged. You can simply load a location (go to the Continent or to the camp, etc) to reset the FPS but ig its better to reload the game just in case.

Stutters still had a place but I didn't reboot the game, may be they would be gone too.

I have exact the same issue, FPS drops/low GPU usage after periods of playing, since mid-late phase of the game. Never thought of Simon Sword. Thanks to OP.

So it turns out the bug happens when you equip the sword from Simon after beating him. Thanks a lot, OP — no more frame drops now

Oh thank god, I was so confused why my FPS dropped to 15 while my system was only used at like 20%.

This is useful as well for PS5. Out of nowhere the FPS was going below 20 even on performance mode lol. Hope they fix it ASAP because it's my favorite Verso's weapon

God fricking dammit. It's a great sword and I did a Verso build that specifically stacks dps for a repeating hit nuke build......

Holy crap this actually works, thank you!

My game was running perfectly fine until i equipped simoso. whenever i enter an area it usually starts of fine but after playing in it for 10-15 minutes with simoso equipped, the fps starts to drop HARD and my cpu temps go up to 73°

Its such a bummer tho, i really enjoy that sword, we better report this so it can get patched sooner.
