Chromatic Gault Parrying Issue?

I think I spelled the name correctly. The one in the stone cave holding a hammer once you can break glowing rocks.

In any case, did anyone have troubles with parrying him specifically compared to so many other enemies? Eventually I was able to parry his quick attack fairly well. It just felt like the camera angle or something made his fight a lot harder than others.

i find that one attack set of his will refuse to let me parry even though i am actively pressing RB to parry

constantly slaughtered me, then I kept a break ready before he started his multi attack and used it in the right moment to kill him off.

I was hardly able to survive his final phase without breaking him, hardly able to parry those constant attacks at the end.

Ironically the constant ones were the easiest for me to do since the angle was different AND there was a consistent rhythm to them.

it was so fast, 7 attacks?, no chance for me, at least I was mentally staggered, takes some time to get accustomed to those attacks

I just parry whenever I saw his hammer is raised above his head during the 7 hit combo, then really watch for the last thrust, hopefully you will beat him :)

yes I got him after 3 or 5 tries, because I kept my staggers in backhand and as soon as he was all *Giggity Giggity Goo* I smashed him unconscious and ate his liver
