Yeah if there's a DLC this is what I want.
Felt like its meant to be Clea carrying all the weight of the family
I believe the Axon that Simon felled is Clea's Axon. Verso has a line there upon seeing Simon "So I guess you've met Clea" I assume thats not the Clea in the Flying Manor.
Verso and Monoko directly talk about Siren is Aline at the beginning of the third act.
I don't think Expedition Zeros story would be worth telling at this point. Their story has already been told within Expedition 33's storyline. Expanding Expedition 33's story is the only thing that would make sense in my opinion. Either that, or expending on Maelles story, or even her sisters with that war she's fighting. This war could open the way for lots of new directions when it comes to future sequels.
I disagree.
Verso said he got tired of being immortal and seeing everyone else die, yet he still had his painted family and he became very emotional when Maelle Gommaged Alicia. From Julie's journal and him saying wanting to bring back that "one" person, shows there were still things he cared about, albeit choosing to end himself and the world in the end. How he fell out with his family is certainly an interesting storyline to explore.
Also, I am just as interested about the real world conflict between Painters and Writers, but I simply do not see the devs pushing additional content and nevertheless an expansion to tell the story about the real world, when they can make many more games about the universe. Sure, there maybe tit bits of lore dump in a potential DLC. But I simply cannot see them creating it for the sole purpose of talking about the conflict when it warrants an entirely new game.
Expedition 33 is merely a very small part of what the Clair Obscur Universe can become.
