[Final boss] scaling for act 3 while side-content scaling? || Spoiler risk!
Some people here would agree that [final main story boss] needs serious scaling too, people would get ridiculous damage numbers after a handful of hours just doing side content in act 3 before facing [final boss] and just one cycles/shots the boss.

I want to experience fighting the boss without sacrificing the build i grinded for, but I don't want my characters wielding a lv 8 weapon and half my pictos unequipped to make the boss challenging yet rewarding to face.

Can't the devs make the hp scale "overtime"? to make it canon, we can say that [boss] is slowly but surely collecting scattered chroma in the world to strengthen themselves and their army while they wait for the crew to arrive so its plausible that the longer the expedition 33 crew is out exploring extra content, they are getting stronger themselves. I can see a world where the boss scales 1:1 to the highest character level. And at lv99, the boss gets tired of waiting and just teleports to your camp and the final fight starts there.

i'd honestly prefer just a super version of the boss unlocked by completing the endless tower, flying manor, and renior's drafts
