Please explain Colour of Lumina

I used 12 of my colour of lumina, but no one in my party got any extra points to upgrade attributes, I thought this is what it was for? what does it actually do?

It lets you add more passives

You use it to gain points of each character. Which expands the amount of leaned pictos you can equip.

You cannot use Colour of Lumina from the start of the game. This item can only be used after unlocking The Curator, a special NPC who appears at the Camp after completing the Flying Waters area and defeating the Goblu boss in Act 1.

it allows you to equip extra pictos, but just for the special effect. When you have a character selected, in the right side you can see what you have equipped and can select to equip more. Pictos when you equip them normally, will unlock the effect for the all team after 4 battles, then you can use lumina to pick and chose what effect you want on what character. I feel this is not very well explained in the game, I didn't use this mechanic for third of the game :D

It doesn't upgrade your attribute, but Lumina point, to equip more Luminas, which are passive abilities.

As others said it rises lumina points wich are way more valuable than normal levels. It lets you wear more and more lumina (trained pictos) making your team wear as many „accessories” as they want (potentially) and becoming absurdly OP.
