Thanks, I'll take a day off and play something relaxing and give it another try tomorrow.
i just put it on story mode if i don't want to struggle, it's not like you auto-win, just more forgiving.
for people thinking he is hard or unfair, soo you did see Simon or Endless Tower boss
It's always okay to take a break.
I figured it's not obvious, but every single day you learn these timings, you get better the next day. It's really just the learning curve like with any other skill, you also have to rest, and during that rest you process experiences that happened throughout the day. Then you wake up the next day and you are slightly better.
Just give it a time and eventually your parry/dodge will work out and success will come.
P.S. Don't forget. Tomorrow comes!
Anyone who has played a pattern based action game can confirm this
In my Expert run with no dodge/parry:
The first renoir fight (some RNG, more or less depends on whether you can burst him down to half health before he vanishes a character from the 3 character team - in this case he was bursted down to half health before the 3 character team even switched in)

And the monolith fight (in this run I believe he only got 2 actions where he could've vanished someone that mattered - with a more optimized build it's probably possible to prevent both of those actions from happening, I was kind of winging it a bit)

In retrospect, the strategy I used for the 2nd fight is probably a better strategy for the first fight too, I think I just didn't have the skills unlocked to try it at the time.
Man I'm sorry this is happening, but the attack is the same every time. The timing is the same.
I don't really want to tell you to gitgud, but you have to get better. Learn from the fight, get the timing down and dodge on time. If that is too hard turn down the difficulty to story mode
I was trying it more often and I came to the point when I had to ask myself if I want a Boss to ruin a wonderful game for me. So I decided to turn to easy and made him first try. I kept it on easy now because the main focus of this game (for me) is its Story. The fights are still interesting enough and I can enjoy the whole World now without frustration.
He tries to but it seems to work not as good for him as on normal, dont know why + He has less hp and I make more dmg so even if one dissappears he's managable now on easy.
