M&K

Is there input lag/buffering for playing on m&k? Sometimes it seems like i'll press parry but seems like it just doesn't go off. Could be just my timing is off a little but seems like I press it a good bit before the attack, like it parries the first one and then same timing with next attack but doesn't seem to go off. Has anyone else felt this yet or could it just be a m&k thing?
