FPS drop in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 after the game update caused frame rate issues
"I've encountered a serious issue while playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. After playing for a while, once my CPU temperature hits around 56°C, my GPU memory clock suddenly drops, and the game’s frame rate gradually declines until it locks at 15 FPS.

I tested other demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077, and they run perfectly fine at over 100 FPS with no thermal or performance drops, so this appears to be a game-specific problem. This issue started occurring after a recent patch; prior to that, I didn’t experience any problems."

Im in the same situation, I updated to the newest drivers (Nvidia), maybe that is the problem
I use 566.36 drivers for my 3070,high settings and dlss quality.1920x1080 resolution.Getting around 80-120 fps depends from area.

This issue started occurring after I captured the simon. My resolution is QHD.

My version is 572.42, and I rolled back to 566.36 and reinstalled it, but the issue remains the same. When I checked Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin's Creed Odyssey with the frame limit unlocked and Afterburner, there was no frame drop even when the CPU temperature exceeded 60°C. However, when I'm almost at the end of the game, after playing for just 10 minutes, the frames keep dropping, and to enjoy the game properly, I have to keep restarting it.

Same problem. 4080s driver 576.02. FPS drop after 10-20 minutes in closed locations. It started after killing Simon.

Also affected here, the issue started happening today right after the update.

I just finished the game today, so it's the first day of problems' occurrence, most certainly connected to the update we had earlier. Hopefully Devs know about it by now.

The latest update is causing the issue from what I have seen. I rolled back to the previous driver and got back at least 30-40 fps. I was never dropping below 90 fps and then updated. Went into the endless tower and noticed it was running at 30fps lmao
The latest driver update is causing the drop in fps. My suggestion is the rollback the driver through Device Manager or manually
I noticed the FPS dropping before updating my drivers. I updated the driver and the FPS still starts dropping after a few minutes?

I reccomend to reset shader cache data in case the gpu drivers use wrong ones.
It may still stutter for a bit but should work fine after few minutes after compiling new shaders data. Not sure if that’s the case here but it fits the description of the problem.

This issue started after capturing Simon. There were no frame drops before that. Since the frame rate kept dropping, I used DDU to completely uninstall the graphics drivers and then reinstalled them, but the problem still persists (I played for about 8 hours after reinstalling the drivers, but the issue remained). During the first play session, the frame rate stays normal at first, but after about 10 minutes, it gradually starts to drop until it eventually hits 15 FPS.

If you're like me and experienced frame drops about 10 minutes after defeating Simon and equipping his sword, please check out this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1903340/discussions/0/592896225883252447/ — it solved the issue for me."

I have a 5090, and my fps was also around 30 there lol.
