That Flying Manor final boss fight is cheap
I really like this game but a major problem this game has is that the lack of balance is very obvious in Act 3, is akin to the bad balance you see in ARPGs where if you want to beat the hardest thing you need to use a meta super broken build.

It's just dumb, I really hate when games invalidate your effort in putting your own build together and make this cheap encounters where your build is completely useless and now you need to go for a guide or some ♥♥♥♥.

This is why usually never bother to do the "hidden" bosses in JRPG's like Xenoblade games or even the Weapons in FF7, they all requiere specific setups to beat and I am completely against that because that invalidates everything you did during your entire playthrough.

That "empowered woman" Golgra leader of the warrior race whos only woman just happens to be the leader is also another cheap fight that requieres an specific build to beat.

I just don't agree with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and never will, this will reduce the score in my review, I just don0t agree with this design.

If you come to the thread to insult or attack in any way you will be blocked on the spot so don't bother, either you disagree respectfully our you are out of the conversation.

Nobody can possibly be spoiled of anything because the name of the boss is unknown to anybody that is not on Act 3 and that means that at that point you know.

Also not hard to just not mention a name.
I'm curious what your build actually is, can you share?

Also golgra has one of the easiest tells in the game, you don't need a specific build. If you're having trouble with her, I'm not sure how you'll get through other side content. She's like the tip of the iceberg.
yeah idk what you mean by you need a specific build. you just need to parry and have on level weapons. i don't even know what an anti clea build would even look like.

I think in this game it's actually a bit more forgiving on your build since you can always get better at parrying if you have the patience. Also part of the point of optional side content is to have harder encounters for the players that want to figure out how to beat it.

I'm not sure how I feel about it but there is something to be said about having very strong or synergistic pictos scattered all over the place that makes it more difficult to figure out a good build on your own without referring to a list of all pictos.

gameplay wise im on ng+ expert difficulty and you really need to master dodges on that one.
Never bothered with builds though , just picked 3 of my favorites and set up skills to support each other.
Only complainet i would have are those gestral beaches (what the heck were devs smoking when they designed those , still stuck on that raft crap )

Also not that hard to not be a weird spoiler defender. Spoiler people need to be accountable for their own aversion to spoilers. I am never in my life going to accommodate them. I won't go out of my way to spoil stuff for people who I know to prefer self-discovery, but that is not going to be a concern for me on the internet ever. If you don't want to be spoiled, have some self-control and stay off related internet media.
If you parry the attacks, it doesn't seem so cheap, because there is no chroma absorbing. The real cheap one, is the one you have to dive to find. That one's overall design (From a lore perspective) Makes 0 sense.

The biggest skill issue ive ever heard. There's people who have beaten the hardest boss in the game off of parries alone, stop crying and move the difficulty down to easy. I'll never understand why people complain about the difficulty when there's an option to make the
