The cheat engine table also allows you to scale your damage output, meaning you can increase your damage to the point you can kill everything before they can attack you.
Just google "Clair Obscur cheat table" and you should find the download page on fearlessrevolution, this is free, you only need the Cheat Engine app (this is PC only of course). Which is also free. This would put the game in a true "story mode" where combat is entirely brainless (and no fun) :-D
OR install the dodge/parry mod from Nexus Mods which fiddles with the timings and can make doding and parrying much, much easier. It's not as braindead as the cheat table, since you still need to actually press the buttons. Only it's much easier now.
