NG+ Inheritance

I enjoyed this game a lot and after completing all achievements I moved on to NG+.

I was quite surprised to find out that I lost the obstacle breaking ability from finding baby gestrals and also all of my discs.

While I could somewhat understand maybe the obstacle breaking ability doesn't have to be carry over (though I wish it did, because we are re-exploring a lot of the low level dungeons in NG+ and having that ability early on just makes exploration much smoother and thus better than the first play through, which I think is a reasonable reward for players dedicated enough to unlock that ability in the first place) I think the music discs/journals should definitely be carried over as collectible similar to clothing & hair styles.

I hope this could be considered in future updates and it would make the NG+ experience better imo.

We should have kept the obstacle breaking ability, these things exist in the main story levels before you get the ability. I went back to break these to check what I would get and it's just a few measly color of lumina. It doesn't break any story progression.

Music should also be carried over, really no reason why we would lose it.

Surprisingly what they did let us keep is esquie's underwater ability, as soon as you can swim you can dive the glowing spots for lumina.

yes I think it is most ideal that we maintain what we unlocked.
