There's a scene in which Verso pulls out a piano and starts playing music with Maelle. At the end of the song, Maelle laughs in an adorable, almost childlike way. I guess this is one example. But I think Maelle is adorable in an innocent way.

Yes and technically no. Spoilers if you haven't finished the game yet Maelle is alicia, who is 16 or so in real world (i don't know if her real world age was mentioned?), but she was reborn as a maelle in the painting and lived 16 more years, wouldn't that make her technically 32?
