I did everything else but even in renoirs its slow...

i finished endless tower first, and ended up around 90, i then cleaned up various stuff and did abyss im at 94 now...
You only get exp one time for each battle in tower , once you done em ...no more.

Even in mid-game NG+ the most exp I was getting from bosses was 1.2 million. If you can find enemies in NG that give you at least 1 million in then stick with that.

The Dark Shores? Or how it is called, they give 2-3 milions exp in NG+

~8 battles give level from 98 to 99. I have never encountered enemies that are stronger and that consistently give more experience than them. Excluding some bosses that can only be killed once

Renoir's drafts first flag. Go lower to take a pack for 1.2 mil, and then turn around and grapple onto the point for 3 eye mobs which will give 3.4 mil. Then reset. Takes like 2 mins for 20% of the level.
Also I used solo Maelle, although I don't remember if she gets more exp than in full party.

Like people are saying, Renoir's Drafts. But instead of the pack, fight the merchant. 2m xp per fight

renuiars drafts second checkpoint. buff a character to the moon in damage and have sciel go first to give them double damage.

I beat every fight by using hell followed by tsunami on lune with this strat.
