Dualsense Controller Buggy after Hotfix
PS5 Dualsense Controller does not work properly after hotfix. Navigating menus with controller is buggy - cannot select ANYTHING in menus. When I press X in the menu, whatever I’m selecting “depresses” or “clicks” but nothing happens. I can’t browse pictos at all or even select a character. Just doesn’t work. I can jump and move normally outside menus. Controller worked fine prior to hotfix and still works with other games fine. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

I can only say that DualSense works fine on my side so the issue is probably fixable.
No it broke my Xbox controller as well

Do you enable steam inputs or default? Any other things you’ve done/changed or just continues to work normally on its own?
Works fine here, with these settings:

The only thing that might be important is that I didint install the latest firmware for dualsense.

Same goes for me. I have insane input lag on right stick while moving the camera and navigating trough menu is painful. I tried to fix the issue with enabling/disabling steam input and ds4windows, but nothing helped.
From day one I had no controller recognition except through SteamInput but otherwise the controller worked. With the patch, I cannot navigate menus with the controller and need to get up and use my mouse. Extremely annoying.

Finally found a solution. Reset graphics settings back to default. After resetting, the controller worked normally again. You can adjust graphics settings after the reset but for whatever reason, the graphics settings were bugging out the controller functions. Hope this helps someone.

This solution sadly didn't work for me. I've switched and xbox controller for now but it has stick drift so no ideal.
Same problem here in gamepass. No solution worked
Hello, i just had the same issues, couldn't press x and the directionnal input in the menu were random. I am using DS4, for ps5 controller on xbox gamepass. To solve this, i launched the game and i put DS4 on pause, and the controller was working properly again.

Ahhhh, they've added native support for the PS5 controller, so DS4 is no longer needed and causes issues if its running, thanks buddy.
