New Update Crashes Game

Hey. This new update has made the game unplayable for me because no matter what save I load, the game gets a fatal error and crashes while loading them. This never happened before this update and the only crash I had prior to that during my 40+ hour playthrough was during a specific boss fight.

Is this happening only to me, or are others also dealing with this currently?

Edit: It seems that updating my NVIDIA driver fixed it. Let's hope it won't crash on future playthroughs

i got Fatal Error since day one.
This new "patch" is the absolute proof, that the devs have no clue, how to release a polished game. I love the game....but its unplayable and they made it even worse, patch after patch.

You´re not alone.
Sandfall is still silent about "UE Fatal error!"

Can't even do the boss in the Painting Workshop or enter The Reacher, just crashes every time on approach.

Even me “UE” fatal error after a cutscene of the camp, I am stuck.

HEY, just got it to run by loading previous save (select X on keyboard and load save just before your latest save).

I removed the mod I forgot I had installed, seems to have fixed it.

personally i keep crashing whenever entering a cutscene :/

ClairObscure Fix on github was updated for the new game update, v9. Game will crash with cut scene on old versions.

In my case, I have a UW screen and it started giving me Fatal Error when a cutscene was about to start.
I was using Lyall's fix before and apparently this was clashing with the new update.

Uninstalling the game, removing the folder at

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Expedition 33

and installing it again worked for me.
