Anyone else constantly crashing?
I'm not hating, just trying to figure out what I can do. I've updated my drivers, I run the i9 12 series, have 32GB of 'base' VRAM, but I keep crashing randomly. I tried with the base game and even tried some of the fix mods on nexus and nothing is working. Is anyone having this issue and if you have and fixed it, how did you do it?

I found the exact and perfect fix for the problem.

You need to reduce the clock of all the processor cores.

In my case, an R7 9800x3d, the magic number was to reduce it to 4,000 GHz.

I used the Ryzen Master app. In it, I looked for the cores section and reduced the clock. It should be possible to do it through the BIOS too, but I preferred to do it through the APP.

Every time you restart your PC, you will need to open Ryzen Master and select the profile with the lowest clock.

The exact clock may vary according to the processor. In the case of the R7 9800X3D, 4,000 GHz solves the problem.

If you have another processor, the ideal is to lower the clock to 4,200 and then by 200 in two hundred steps, until you find a number that solves the problem.

This solution seems to work for any UNREAL 5 game and eliminates the errors: out of memory, lowlevel error, fatal error. It definitely solves the crashes in Expedition 33 completely.

Zero crashes, whether opening the game, in cutscenes, or loading after dying.

On Reddit and the Steam community, I saw that the Lords of the Fallen dev reported this problem on Intel processors and recommended reducing the clock to 5,200 GHz as a solution.

However, it is clear that this problem also occurs on AMD processors with high clocks. It is no wonder that most of the victims of this problem are high-end PC owners.

With this solution, you will fix the crash problem without having to force the game to open in DirectX 11, which would make the graphics much worse.

what does it mean? Is there a reason you avoid sharing the specs?

If you don't know what VRAM is and what it does then how would you understand anything about specs? I also said what my processor was, but if you would like the only thing left out of the specs it's a 3080 ti

Same, up until last night everything was fine, but after the latest update it's been crashing on start. Bout to just get a refund if I can't even play the game....first 30 hours of gameplay were fine so idk what changed in the last patch to make it so un-playable :/

I don't know anything about an update since I got it yesterday. I don't plan on refunding either, I'm just trying to get it to stop.

That's 576.28, i've seen a lot of reports about this driver crashing E33. Try reverting to a December 2024 driver version.

Imma give that a shot, this honestly isn't the first time I've had to do this.

The game is crashing today multiple times after trying to continue my saved game. I'll try downloading and installing new Nvidia drivers now.
EDIT: Still crashing with Nvidia drivers 576.28 and 572.83.

Been getting fatal crashes seemingly at random

It loads up fine, had some crashes when loading saves, but yesterday and today it's just been random crashes both in combat and out in the world map

Well, you are rude and you are wrong. You can't "add" more VRAM from your system memory. Shared GPU memory is not VRAM.

So am i, too much crash like around 6 tonight (3 / 4 hours max olaytime)
I think the newest update did something... I have played 30+ hours, just tried to start the game and it crashed trying to load my save. I'd recommend giving the devs time to fix whatever broke in the update.

This has helped a lot, I was able to actually play for 2 hours straight when before it was crashing like every 30 minutes.

Disabling steam overlay in game seems to have solved the crashing for me atm.
