Question about Act 3 and exploration (no spoilers)
I'm just starting Act 3. There's still a lot of the world I haven't explored yet, but the game is telling me to go to Lumiere. Should I go there now, or is it better to explore first? Will the game give me reasons to explore later, or is this already the final mission?
(No spoilers please — I just want to know if it's safe to wait or if I should explore now.)

I would suggest only completing all content that you may have skipped that was available pre flight (except maybe Sprong). Don't do much content that is only available after being able to fly.
It's better to finish the story even before doing some of the act 2 optional stuff. The loot you get from optional stuff will cause you to absolutely annihilate the remaining story content.
Lumiere is the final lvl. So explore the map instead. You might be to weak for all the optional content tho. It requires a lot of skill/grind.

You can't explore a lot before reaching a specific point in the story you didn't get to yet. Don't worry about exploration just yet unless you're curious. Almost everything in the game is still available right before reaching the ending !

I'm avoiding Lumiere because I hate playing the same game back-to-back to make 100%.
I will go there when I'm 99,99%. And yes I'm afraid I will be too strong but I can make little challenges to compensate like no gradient moves, no dodge....or play in veteran mode.

The fights will be trivial long before 99.99%. Veteran, no dodge, no Gradients, nothing will change that. You will have to severly cripple yourself.

1. Do character/relationship quests in the camp
2. Do main story
3. Everything else

I get you. I did go explore most I could before the end and then some more after because the game allows you to. Still went through an NG+ to get an achievement I was missing tho (it goes really fast if you have a broken build and just skip cutscenes)
okey, thx you all!

once you beat the game you are able to free-roam until you choose NG+ in the menu.

Only basic attacks mode.

Im already playing in super veteran mode+ because my notebook is kinda mediocre. I lost the counts of how many times I exploded myself as Lune because I couldn't do the skill checks haha. Yet I'm surprised I'm doing fine...there are many players here with NASA computers and they are always nagging.
