NG+ Question
Can I roll over my high level party in easy mode for NG+, or does it scale up difficulty wise?

I really want my wife to experience this game but she's not a gamer. Sometimes we try Story mode on games, but I think Hogworts is all she was able to finish. The dodge/parry system in this game would destroy her unless she walks in at end game level from the start.

Thanks for any answers.

i think you keep everything even if you change difficulty so it should be okay

It will definitely be easier to roll over the NG+ if your party is built well. But the enemies still scale and a couple of battles will feel very off. Like in Lumiere at the very beginning the first Mimic before the Gommage - she will be getting one-shot by it bcs it's NG+ and you can't even manage your Gustave build yet. Also for story purposes it will be super confusing for her to start the game with 5 characters but the cutscenes will show something completely different.
I advise that you put her on Story Mode on a completely fresh run, and turn off the QTEs from the Settings.
Hopefully she'll enjoy it a lot. :)

Awesome, that's exactly the answer I was hoping for. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully she can make it through the game on easy mode in NG+ then.

Wasn't aware you could turn off QTEs. That completely changes things then. Agree, fresh run on story mode with no QTEs is the way to go for her then. Thanks for the reply, I can't believe I didn't know that in the first place.

Clarification, turning off QTE just turns off needing to press buttons for abilities (you do lose the perfect timing bonus) you still need to parry/dodge.
