Party synergy
I find it hard to build synergy between the characters I'm using in my party. Currently I use verso, luna and maelle. I'm at the first axiom at the moment. Could someone share a good build idea for the whole party or should I just play every character basically separate of each other? I'm currently running free aim/max ap build and almost every stat point in might.

i have two mains Verso and Maelle cus it is ez to stack dmg on them cus they mechanic, the last party member was hard to pick for me, but i pick Sciel, why?

Sciel is the best support character, she can delay enemy turn, give extra turn, she can give all buffs at one skill (yes, know all character can do it with right pictos) she can heal team, and she can make great dmg most single target but multi too, she can double dmg for one turn soo it is perfect for Maelle or Verso. she can also debuff enemy (second gradient attack) with slow super important

Lune is good but her dmg depends about her machanic and enemy resistance, with right pictos she can be op but i think there are just better picks

Monoco great character but you need to unlock skills for him so he is strong in late game or ng+ and he have only few weapons soo less option to build him than rest characters

I started off with Maelle using the Duenum weapon plus Egide.. Duenum will make it so that any AP you get while in defensive mode also goes to allies, and Egide will set you to defensive mode and make Maelle intercept all attacks, which basically puts all your characters at a constant 9 AP. Add Defensive mode to Maelle and she basically tanks for the whole party. For damage, I believe she was using Payback which lowers its AP cost based on how many attacks she parried, which synergizes with Egide perfectly

Meanwhile, because Maelle was taking all the damage, I had Verso using Overload to raise rank to A and bring HP to 1, as well as Berserker Slash which does more damage at lower HP. If you can also get stuff like immaculate, at deaths door, critical moment, inverse affinity, confident fighter, etc, you can also have Verso using Steeled strike, again because Maelle is tanking, or you can also use Strike Storm.

Lastly, for really tanky optional bosses, I had Lune using Fire Rage which does increasing damage until Lune takes damage. Again, because Maelle was tanking, she could typically get to higher numbers. I didn't do this, but if you give her healing abilities, maybe you can also add shell on healing for Maelle to be tankier. One you unlock Hell, you can cast this pretty frequently due to Maelle's Egide+Duenum combo

Because Verso and Lune are still vulnerable to group attacks, it can definitely be worth it, especially for verso at 1 hp, to add some kind of picto that gives you a shield.. Solidifying works great with Verso's Overload, as it gives 2 shields when dropping below 50%. Base Shield and In Medias Res are also great but i think you get those later

The only synergy I had was a quick charge of chroma for attacks 3 lvl on Lunes.

Seems pretty solid. Best advice so far seems to be making maelle tank for the party. I'll probably go this route
i didnt read any other suggestions, but u can use maelle to set up shell, lune to burn the opps, generic white guy to mark, then virtuoso wit maelle.
a lot of burn, then everyone using burn crit pictos
mark / burn on shots

2x basic attack and 2AP per basic attack = 4 AP per round
heal on attack
heal on next round
dodge

right now it doesn't matter what I do, because I found a lvl 21 sword and rapier before the first axiom

and verso got a 15hit attack with one round setup which gives massive amount of dmg
