Bro, I had no idea you could even bring up the menu during combat (I've literally never had a reason to, lol). I'm kinda reaching the point now where I NEED something like that cause I'm tired of running into a new boss and getting myself killed on the first turn, then having to wait for everyone is dead in order to try and restart.
Reached Stage 11 in the Endless Tower last night, so yeah... You can't really afford to screw up there since you start fighting multiple bosses at a time, lol. I'll just do this next time though and see if it works better.
If anything, it needs more time to reset brain. When you do challenging fights like this, one after another, rage and frustration from the previous run affects your next run very notoriously. That's why Dark Souls is perfect in this case, you have enough time to mentally reset while running to the boss.
