Meaning they got some ideas already for more stuff to cook
I hope they go the anthology route and give us a brand new world / story every time
Let CO become the new FF, recurring theme / names / etc but always fresh
The composer can be nicknamed Nobuo Frenchmatsu
As someone else said, they could make a whole new RPG subgenre called Je'RPG lol
Personallly I hope we will see what comes next for "Maelle". The game had a kinda open ending after all. Also, there is that war in the real world that could also be sequel material. I do wonder after all how a war between writers and painters looks. Can they use some of their powers in the real world as well?
And what's the state of the real world?
Those are questions I would like some answers for.
ie. completely new world, characters, story etc. but sharing some basic elements likes enemy types, skills, equipment, and stuff like that. Should be fairly easy with the way they setup their world. Could even have some cameos from certain characters to make them feel a bit more connected, but still basically separate self-contained stories.
I'd much prefer a Sequel (Or a spinoff) taking place in the "Real World", either following Alicia has she creates new canvas... or following a world from another guild, like maybe the writers this time around.
They've built a very deep world full of lore, it has tons of places to evolve into... i wouldn't want them to remain stuck in Verso's canvas for another decade.
THIS! And also... are there other factions in that world... we know of the painters and writers, but are there also sculptors? Composers?
So many possibilities that could come up in a sequel.
