Major Bug! My character has dissappeared from my party?!
I think I've encountered a major bug near the beginning of the game's first chapter.

When I encountered my first fight in Flying Waters, Lume is the only one fighting in the party & I found that odd. Now I suddenly don't have Gustave showing up in fights on the main map? But he's still in my party/free roam. Did I really run into a game breaking bug already?

(This is on a PS5 console, I'm afraid. So I don't have another save file.)

You most likely just removed Gustave from the party, go into your party management menu and add him to the party.

If this is not the fix for it then I can't really help you if I don't see what is going on lol.

No. It was a bug/glitch. It might've been going to flying waters & then back to save at the camp again? I do not know what caused that to happen.

I didn't realize that the game (that auto-saves the file) has a couple of auto-saves backed up. So I was lucky enough to load a previous save & the problem is no more. So bullet dodged. Thank the stars. Been enjoying it, so that gave me a mini-heart attack.

There's a related bug, but you don't encounter until you reach old lumiere.

Sometimes, the characters like to suddenly disappear from the party and you have to allocate them again so I thought that it might be the problem. I have never experienced this bug though.

I used backup saves
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Sandfall\Saved\SaveGames\76561198121185449\Backup
