bad voice acting

when Gustave dies and you get Verso in his place he starts speaking with FF16 Clive's voice.
This should never be accepted and that single thing threw me off the game for another 3 days. I just can't handle this after playing FF16 for ~60 hours.

Imagine watching Mr.Robot and then you see Rami Malek anywhere else?
HE ALWAYS WILL BE PORTRAYED AS THAT NERDY ELIOTT ANDERSON and he should never get another big role anywhere after 1 big hit. There is enough good voice actors and actors that need jobs and reusing the same asset is so pathetic.

I'd say the voice acting of this game's very strong in general. I just wish somebody'd taught the cast to swear properly in French.

2. just because you recognized a voice from a game you play a lot of, doesn't mean the VA is bad. Ben Starr performs Verso differently than he performs Clive and the difference is stark. You're an idiot

Yeah I kind of get that. kind feel the same about Lara Bailey. Haven't heard her for a while but back in the day she did like everything. Hands down she likely did more voice acting then any other voice actress. She does a great job but after hearing her voice so many times. Just got really tired of hearing it and really wanted to hear somebody else.
There was actually one time I couldn't tell it was her. When she played Lightning's sister in FF. Since majority of the time she uses her deeper Elf voice.

what do you mean, my setup is very good even in 2025, i easily run games like fortnite and counter strike 2 on solid 60+ FPS (i don't need more because i have a 60Hz monitor). I even played Cyberpunk 2077 multiple times

Yeah it also is quite uninspired that french devs made a game about france. But besides that I found Clive voice the most annoying over anything else. Also Gustavos death was really pushed as he, white hair man and Verso actually look like 1 person.
