Maelle goes BRRRRR
That includes that dodging the whole light speed attack. P1 took 3 mins and P2 took 7 mins.

You mad lad. You even had the balls to parry. Not bad.
Here's mine but I'm more into dodging: https://youtu.be/qanOYqNNtYM
Honestly I wasn't really aiming for the clear just yet, and so my build was still largely based on being a burn bot for when verso was with lune and maelle, while sciel and monoco were both pretty useless lol
Breaking Death is also a great if you want to cheese "dying".
Edit: Lets add Immaculate as well since you're not supposed to get hit anyways.
I had fun time with Renoir and Aline, though.
Did you do this?
Also you clearly didn't do the fight legit since he'll vanish the whole party halfway. Forcing you to fight with reserve.
That's incorrect isn't it?
Your attacks in the video do basically nothing except one move and the 3 mill burns, so yes, you found some op cheese way to minmax burn, which helped you cheese past his super phase by nuking him.
I guess the cheese is to push Verso crit to 100% so he always applies burn with Confuso, then marking shots and burning shots so it adds more burn.
It's nice but let's be honest, the burn carried you because it's simply poorly balanced.
im definitely not arguing that its a "fun" or "fair" fight its a secret boss made to test your limits its ass. every games secret boss is usually ass. but its not unreasonable for a non cheese build to beat him before the turn counter where he wipes the team with pretty crap builds on most bosses people were skipping scripted turn count attacks by going fast that other players were hitting. simon has 50some million hp thats a lot but its actually not that ridiculous at max level. yes one shot builds will dominate YES the fight sucks but all im really hearing in this is skill issue this skill issue that. his light beams are dodgeable its just hard if you go faster or tank better he doesnt wipe your party on his turn because you either didnt die or he didnt go 2x in a row. also by going faster you get more turns before he forces the reserves. it just feels like your base build is bad. you dont need to google a 1 shot build to fix your party just....get gud? i mean this kindly because its a hard crappy fight thats not fun to die to. but its not just cheese thats winning some of what you call "cheese" is just intended game mechanics the games just not balanced never has been iv watched like 10 full play through and the difficulty differences were wildly varied because people had just different ideas and builds
NG+ without a one shot build, well he had 93 milions hp, it was a pain, in that try I wasn't even expecting the forced team change D: . My run is quite messy but I did it like at my third try.
I don't complain about people who use a one shot builds, everyone play as they want and it is totally fine, until you are having fun yourself it's fine, it's a single player game.
